Using this website

This website is provided by Anavah Institute for general information and to help you schedule appointments and contact us. By using it you agree to these terms.

Not medical advice; emergencies

Nothing on this website, including the Mia chat and voice assistant, is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a clinician–patient relationship. If you are in an emergency, call 911. For crisis support, call or text 988.

Appointments

Initial consultations are scheduled through our Google Calendar page and are subject to confirmation by the practice. The initial consultation is free for now; fees for ongoing care are discussed on that call. Please contact the office about any late-cancellation or missed-appointment policy that applies to your visit. Insurance participation varies by plan; contact us before your visit to confirm coverage.

Good Faith Estimate

If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before you receive care. Ask us when you schedule or at any time. For more information visit cms.gov/nosurprises.

Where we practice

Clinical care is limited to patients located in Ohio and New York. Education, consulting and networking services for healthcare providers are available worldwide.

Mia, our AI assistant

Mia is an automated assistant and may make mistakes. Please confirm important details such as dates, times and coverage with the office.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, submit false information, or use automated means to book appointments.

Intellectual property

Site content, including text, graphics and diagrams, belongs to Anavah Institute or its licensors. The wellness-dimensions diagram is adapted from Swarbrick, M. (2006), A Wellness Approach, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal, 29(4), 311–314.

Disclaimer and limits

The website is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of the website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
